o        Implemented college/industry partnerships for workforce development, including satellite nursing program at Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital and certified nurse aide training at Dimock Community Health Center.

o        Led successful re-accreditation effort of a nursing program under challenging conditions.

o        Attracted and hired seasoned faculty, mentored novice faculty.

o        Initiated the college’s first courses in physical education, developed six new health/fitness certificate programs and certificate program for mental health workers.

o        Achieved significantly higher level of faculty accountability in a contentious collective bargaining environment.

o        Developed and maintained budget record keeping system for the division in times of college budget inconsistency.

o        Developed advising program for students interested in health careers.  Program advised 300 students in a 24-month period.

o        Managed budget of 1.6 million dollars.

o        Supervised 60 faculty, 19 full time.

o        Developed and implemented programs in Peri-Operative Nursing and Central Sterile Processing in partnership with Boston hospitals.  Graduates were hired by the hospitals.

o        Significantly increased enrollment in time of college wide enrollment decline.

o        Responsible for management of five programs, including the largest nursing programs in the Commonwealth at the time.
